Matthew Osborne

Matthew Osborne is a Kaurna and Narungga man and has extensive experience in Indigenous fisheries. He sits on state and national advisory committees that provide advice and analysis to direct research that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement in fisheries management and the seafood industry.

Matthew is the Program Leader, Aquaculture and Regional Development in Northern Territory Fisheries where he oversees a range of Aboriginal and industry development programs including; supporting small scale fishing and aquaculture operations in remote Aboriginal communities across the Northern Territory. He is a graduate of the National Seafood Industry Leadership Program and holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Marine Biology from Flinders University.
