The World Fisheries Congress 2021 program delivers engaging features on a virtual platform that enables the global fisheries community to explore, discuss and debate key innovations, latest research, challenges and opportunities facing the global fisheries community today.
Access the World Fisheries Congress’ “OnAIR” virtual platform will be open from one week prior to the Congress and for six months post congress.
Livestreamed Sessions (coloured teal in the program):
Up to 5 keynote presentations (12 minutes each) followed by 30-60-minute Q&A sessions to discuss and debate key topics and issues facing the global fisheries community.
Access for delegates: Via the “OnAIR” Congress Platform, including a Q&A discussion panel that facilitates question submissions to the panellists.
Virtual Sessions (coloured yellow in the program):
Presentations previously scheduled for the in-person program will be delivered virtually now that the entire congress will be delivered online.
Each presentation (as a pre-recorded video) will be delivered as scheduled in the in-person program, with a live Q&A panel discussion at the end of each session involving all session presenters. Presentations will be 12 minutes in length.
Access for delegates: Via the “OnAIR” Congress Platform, including a Q&A discussion panel that facilitates question submissions to the presenters.
Access to all presentations, including the Opening Address, plenary presentations and Livestreamed Sessions will be made available in the WFC2021 virtual congress portal. Program and poster presentations will be made available one week prior to the Congress week and remain available six-months post the Congress. Each On-Demand presentation has its unique written discussion forum. On-demand presentations will be up to a maximum of 15 minutes in length. Poster presentation will have the option of including a video up to 3 minutes in length.
