AUSTRALIAN SOCIETY FOR FISH BIOLOGY 50TH CELEBRATION AND STUDENT MIXER
Who: Everyone attending the Congress in-person is welcome
Date: Tuesday, 21 September 2021
Time: TBC (Evening)
What’s included: A few drinks, some nibbles, but importantly face-to-face networking and colleagues!
Why: ASFB is turning 50 years young in 2021, and we want to bring everyone together and celebrate in an informal way at the start of the WFC week. We’re proposing to start the evening off focusing on a student mixer, aimed at getting students to mingle and get-to-know each other. The evening will transition into a gathering of ASFB members, and other interested attendees, with a chance to share memories of ASFB’s of old, and importantly share our hopes for our Society for the next 50 years.
Please note: we will also celebrate our 50th in other ways too, but this is a great opportunity to gather, reacquaint, meet and network in a casual ASFB environment.
